New to Hockey
EHA aims to grow the great sport of hockey by offering beginners a chance to TRY HOCKEY FOR FREE. In addition, our FREE Little Wildcats program is a great way for our youngsters to get started on the ice. Our fees are some of the lowest and most affordable in the Metro Area.
Hockey is for everyone! Parents do not need hockey knowledge/history for their child to play. Bring your child to hockey and we'll show them how to have some fun on the ice. Feel free to contact our Recruitment & Retention Coordinator with any questions.

2025 Little Wildcats Program
Register for EHA's Little Wildcat program to receive free hockey gear from head-to-toe (helmet, all pads, skates, stick and bag by Pure Hockey). Participants will also receive at least 3 hours of free instruction to prepare for the upcoming hockey season.
Free? What's the catch? We will get to that...
Eligible participants are Kindergarteners or any older first-time hockey player for the 2025-2026 hockey season and meet Eagan High School attendance boundaries. Click here to see if you are in the EHS attendance boundaries. If your address is outside of the Eagan High School boundaries and you are looking to play for EHA, please note that Minnesota Hockey modified their rules related to school-based waivers as of January 2024. Use of school-based waivers has become more restrictive and is only applicable to those players who have finished their last year of mites and are registering for their first year of squirts. Any players not eligible for a school-based waiver who have a desire to play for an Association outside the boundaries of their physical home address must seek and be granted a one year "discretionary" waiver for each player for each individual hockey season.
Player must register with USA Hockey. Registration with USA Hockey is $15 for participants ages 6 and younger (2019 birth year) After obtaining your USA Hockey Number then register for Little Wildcats.
